Comments (3)Last week I was telling a chap I’d met about this blog, explaining that I write about business opportunities and ideas that interest me. He though it sounded great and promptly asked me for a list of small business ideas. Naturally I suggested he read the blog.
Since then however, I’ve been reading about organisation structure [...]

Comments (3)This business idea is a twist on the British tradition of the “pub crawl”. It’s a mobile bar that takes you on a pub crawl around several London pubs. I expect it would go down well with stag and hen parties!
I’m not quite sure how this is affected by the licensing laws, or even the [...]

Comments (4)I’m asked several times a week if I think a business should be based on a totally new business idea or on existing idea given a new twist.
Generally I believe that unless you’re an experienced entrepreneur you’re more likely to succeed in business by taking and existing business idea and implementing it better than [...]

Comments (1)Britain’s personal debt is increasing by a very scary £1 million every 4 minutes. By the end of August 2007 it totalled £1,363 Billion! Amongst those in debt are university graduates, who leave their studies with an average debt of £12,363. However a scheme called Do Good 4 Debt, is launching in January 08 which [...]

Comments (5)I’m often asked how I come up with business ideas and while I provide a list of tactics for finding business ideas it’s sometimes easy to examine a real example. So here’s the business idea I’ve just come up with.

Hardly a new idea though, but the difference is that [...]

Comments (3)I read over on Stuff 4 Restaurants that a new restaurant in Nuremberg, Germany is claiming to be the first waiter-less restaurant in the world. You place your order by touch screen and it descends on rails from the kitchen above along the steel tubes direct to your table. You pay via a credit card [...]

Comments (13)I’m often asked how I come up with so many new business ideas so here are some tips for coming up with your very own business ideas.
1. Expect to have ideas . If you believe you’re incapable of coming up with ideas then you won’t come up with any. Put aside any negativity about yourself [...]

Comments (7)I’ll often suggested that keeping your idea secret for fear that others will steal it is unnecessary and actually makes it harder to bring your idea to come fruition. I usually suggest that being a successful entrepreneur is 1% Inspiration and 99% Perspiration.
It’s one of the reasons I’m happy to share my business ideas on [...]

Comments (1)There’s something magical about watching fish swim and the Ithaa undersea restaurant really uses that magic to full effect. The up-market eatery, which opened to the public in 2005, is situated several metres below the Indian Ocean at the Hilton Maldives Resort and Spa on Rangali Island.
The restaurant, which cost around $5 million to build [...]

Comments (2)This is one of the more novel business ideas I’ve come across. Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd, United Nations University and a range of other academic and industrial supporters have teamed up and turned an old cruise ship into an oceangoing campus. The ship has even been renamed “The Scholar Ship”!
Students will spend 16 weeks aboard [...]
