I saw this interesting snippet on the A VC blog:
Nine of our eleven entrepreneurs are in their 30s. One is in his 20s, and one is in his 50s.
That says to me that prime time entrepreneurship is 30s. And its possibly getting younger as web technology meets youth culture.
I started my first proper business at 24 in the software/technology/web area if I hadn’t had skills in those areas I don’t expect I’d have started until my 30s, how about you?

This blog is about business opportunities and ideas that I spot, think of or hear about and think are useful and interesting. It is intended to provide ideas and inspriation for you to help you find the right business idea for you to then grow it into a successful business.

well i’m 30 too, and still trying to start a business
Well, I was 16 when I started my first “official” business.. so yeah I guess it’s just when the time suits the individual entrepreneur.
I think either very early, as in my case, or in your thirties (after having saved a little cash) would be the best time though. As when I was 16 I had no debts, no repayments for anything and parents who gave me the startup capital required.
True it’s so much easier when you have nothing to loose or are financially free (or close to it). I’d find it harder to start from scratch these days…
