Can you tell me how to get my business on Google?
Well Google is pretty big and offers a lot of services so the first question is, which part of Google? Here’s some pointers to get you started:
Google Search
You can get your site included in Google’s search engine by submitting the URL here http://www.google.com/addurl/, you should probably take a look around here http://www.google.com/webmasters/ too. You’ll also get listed if a website that’s already in their listings links to you.
If you want to advertise on Google you’ll need to visit the AdWords pages here http://adwords.google.com.
Google Blog Search
To get your blog listed in Google’s blog search you’ll need to configure your blog to ping Google, you can find out how here http://www.google.com/help/blogsearch/about_pinging.html.
Google Local
To get your business listed in Google Local you need to enter your details here http://www.google.com/local/add .
GMail and Google Docs
You can find out about the small business versions of these here http://www.google.com/a/smallbiz/ .
