Earlier today I recieved an email about an Internet business opportunity called “The ‘5 Quid Payments’ Plan”. Which is a short, 37 page ebook explaining how to make money online by selling ebooks for £5. Typically I avoid such ebooks as they usually contain excessive hype and claim that you can “get rich quick” by following their advice, citing unrealistic earnings figures that few if any of their readers will ever achieve. So I was rather surprised to see the opening claim on the sales page:
How I make over £50 a day online from home
For a start it’s not in US dollars, secondly you can’t really call it a “get rich quick” book when the earnings claimed are so modest - it goes on to explain that £50 a day is equal to £18,250 a year - hardly enough to go out and buy your first Ferrari!
The ebook itself is very British, it’s understated, makes modest claims and offers simple practical advice on every aspect of researching, writing, marketing and selling an ebook. The guidance is clear enough that anyone should be able to do it. It also explains where to get the software you need (which is all free) and there’s a template website included in case you’re not a HTML guru. On top of that it’s only £5, which is less than most of the “how to start a business” books in your local bookshop that bore you about bookkeeping without actually telling you how to get out there and make a business work.
In short, it’s a nice cheap guide to an internet business opportunity that you can try out over the weekend. If you fancy skipping a pint or two to pursue a business opportunity this weekend then pop over to the The ‘5 Quid Payments’ Plan website and grab yourself a copy. If you do, please feel free to post your own review in the comments below.
UPDATE: I’ve removed the links as while the content wasn’t a scam I’ve had a number of complaints that people never received the ebook.

This blog is about business opportunities and ideas that I spot, think of or hear about and think are useful and interesting. It is intended to provide ideas and inspriation for you to help you find the right business idea for you to then grow it into a successful business.

Sounds pretty believable with their “sales pitch”.
It makes a nice change from the usual hype doesn’t it!
A good package that does enable you to get a ‘product’ online quickly - with some good advice on how to market it. I’d suggest that £5 is probably well spent just for the marketing tips - even if you didn’t carry it forward.
My wife has tried to purchase this ebook this morning, and the site says it will be delivered instantly, but she has not received it? She has also emailed the contact email on the site but no reply!!! Has anyone successfully purchased this as I’d hate to think it is a scam?
Andy,
It’s not a scam, but unfortunately computers do go wrong occasionally, try email the author again and let me know how you get on. If you’ve not had any joy tomorrow let me know and I’ll contact them.
Hi John
Thanks for the reply and I’m pleased to say it has now arrived so that’s good and my wife seems very happy with it so a big thumbs up here!
Andy,
Please have her post a short review or better yet let us know how she gets on with it.
I certainly will John! Keep up the great blogging!
This is a way to make money online. Simple as that. If you come across the right idea, put the effort in then the rewards will come by for a long time. I’ve been making around £45 per week from this on auto-pilot, just a few sales each day. It pays for a good night out.
im planning on getting the ebook, but being only 16 is it worth it?? and is it time consuming as i have college through the week n a part time job when im not at college?? let me know
cheers xxx
Tom,
It’s worth it, if you’re going to put the effort in.
It could be time consuming, it could make far more money than your part time job will or it might make less. If you choose to become an entrepreneur that’s the risk you take.
I tried this last month and it does work. You just need to put some hard work in and take action. I’m averaging about 30 quid a day, so it’s useful.
