Interesting. I have done this kind of work sessions in B-School (yes, I have an MBA), and in some business training seminars, etc. I agree after a few days, we got a lot of good ideas and came out with a sort of a plan. The issue has been what happens to them afterwards. I find people like myself who is seriously thinking to pursue one is very rare. Most cases, all go back to their normal lives.

Good question Asako. I can’t speak for startup weekends but my experience is similar to yours, lots of people talk about it, but few actually do it.
