Here’s a simple business idea, gather all auctions on eBay with going for one dollar or less and with just one hour left, buy the bargains re-list them properly (in the right category, with a good description and photo) and sell them on at a profit. Alternatively you could do what Internet entrepreneurs Mike Powell and Juergen Horn have and create a website listing them, in their case they created Last Minute Auction.

Last Minute Auction allow visitors to hunt for bargains on eBay. The site searches for eBay auctions that ends in one hour and for items that are prices under $1, these auctions are then displayed as a list on the front page. By clicking on the link, you’ll be directed to the item’s auction on eBay. It’s surprising that Ebay don’t offer this functionality themselves, you’d have thought it would have helped increase the number of bids and the average selling price, thereby increasing the final value fees taken in by Ebay.
The site is completely free to use, making it’s money from the affiliate links. It’s a great example of a good way to approach affiliate marketing, finding a niche and building a site to cater to that niche.
