This was the last episode in the current series of Badger Or Bust. The episode saw Ruth Badger return home to Wolverhampton to help Camberley Curtains.
Camberley Curtains seemed to have made a fundamental mistake closing down two retail shops to move into a (cheaper) industrial unit. The somewhat predictable result was a drop in takings. They did have a plan though, they were going to move into the wholesale market, the problem was 18 months down the line they hadn’t.
As usual we saw Badger get all the staff out selling - faggots and peas this time (what odd taste in food they have in Wolverhampton) and as usual they found they could all sell. The biggest block they had to selling successfully was the overbearing boss.
Badger then set about getting them an introduction to an apparently locally based nationwide interior design firm to begin their entry into the wholesale market. Quite why they hadn’t done that on their own I don’t know.
Largely as you’d expect it all turned out alright in the end.
